St. Damien of Molokai Church, Dum Dum


It gives us immense pleasure and joy to announce that today again St. Damien Church came forward to help those who are in need, during this tough times whilst the pandemic and lockdown. Just like last time this time too our Church was able to assist 50 families. 

We are happy to serve people from different faiths as out of 50 families, who were served, 30 families were from other faiths.

Thanks to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts for providing all the necessary assistance to reach out to those who were in need of help. We would always try to serve more and more people who require assistance and help. This time we were able to donate some essential items like Rice, Dal, Potatoes, Oil, Loaf of bread, Salt and Soya. We would be happy to donate more variety of essential items as much as can be arranged.

Our sincere thanks to Rev. Fr. Umakant. SSCC for taking more and more such initiatives like these and for arranging the funds, while making sure that all volunteers and others present follows Covid norms and protocols as laid down by the state government.
